If your phone is connected to your Mac by USB but it is not detected by the Easy Phone Tunes application then try the following:
1) The Samsung Kies software is known to cause problems for Easy Phone Tunes on a Mac. If you have Samsung Kies installed on your Mac then click here for more information.
2) If you have the Android File Transfer application installed on your Mac then remove it. This application is known to cause connection issues with Samsung Galaxy devices.
3) Try disconnecting your phone from the Mac and then reconnecting (note that it may take a few seconds for the phone to be detected). If this does not work then disconnect your phone, switch it off then switch it on again and reconnect it.
