It may be necessary to enable the USB connection on your device. This can be done by the following procedure:
1) Connect the Galaxy device to the PC or Mac using the USB cable
2) Select either the “Turn on USB Storage” or “Connect Storage to PC” button
If neither of these options is available then try the following:
1) Ensure that the Galaxy device is connected to the PC or Mac using the USB cable
2) Touch the notification bar (the thin bar at the top of the screen showing the time and signal strength)
3) Pull this bar downwards
4) Select the “USB Connected” notification
5) Select the “Turn on USB Storage” or “Connect Storage to PC” button
